HAPPY LIGHT THERAPY is also known as bright light therapy or phototherapy. We use our Happy Lights as a therapy and a way to treat seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and certain other conditions by exposure to artificial light. SAD is a type of depression that occurs at a certain time each year, usually in the fall or winter. Studies suggest seasonal affective disorder happens all year. During light therapy, you sit in our unit with FDA-cleared lighting therapy devices that give off bright light that mimics natural outdoor light. Light therapy is thought to affect brain chemicals linked to mood and sleep, easing SAD symptoms. Using light therapy may also help with other types of depression, those adjusting to nighttime work schedules, sleep disorders, and jetlag, and dementia.
CHROMOTHERAPY LIGHTS use the science of using colors to adjust body vibrations to frequencies that result in health and harmony. Each color possesses frequencies of a specific vibration, and each vibration is related to different physical symptoms.
Our bodies need the sun’s light to live. And that light can be broken down into a seven-color spectrum. An imbalance of any of those colors can manifest itself in physical and mental symptoms. Color therapy works on various energy points to help balance your body via the full spectrum of visible light, each color addressing a distinct need. Color and light have been utilized by healers for thousands of years. Color therapy possibly has roots in Indian medicine (Ayurveda), ancient Egyptian culture and traditional Chinese healing. Alternative medicine practitioners who use chromotherapy often relate the seven colors of the color spectrum to specific body areas.

HALOTHERAPY or DRY SALT therapy, involves breathing in air with tiny salt particles to improve your breathing. Halotherapy is considered an alternative treatment for allergies, or lung problems such as asthma, bronchitis, and cough. Dry salt therapy is done in the Mobile Happy Light Unit as an inactive salt room with the help of a halo-generator. This allows the small, dry salt particles to spread in the air and enter your lungs and skin. Salt is a natural and safe ingredient. It does not have any notable side effects. It is also:
- Mucoactive, clearing up mucus from your airways
- Antibacterial, helping prevent infections
- Anti-inflammatory
- Immunity-boosting
- Anti-allergic
CHROMOTHERAPY MOOD GLASS are available as a valuable keepsake for your employees to use anytime and anywhere they need a mood booster! Chromotherapy, also known as color therapy, is a legitimate medical term that refers to the use of specific colored light to treat health problems, most common psychological and mood-related issues. The basis for most of the studies and theories is the understanding that light is composed of electromagnetic energy, Chromotherapy uses light to help balance the body’s energy for physical and emotional healing. Each color in the spectrum has a particular balance for the body based on the color. Color enters the eyes through the lens and is then sent to receptors in the retina called rods and cones. The rods and cones send the color frequencies through the optic nerve to the brain and to the pineal glands. In the brain, the frequencies are interpreted to determine the colors. The different wavelengths of the frequencies determine which color will be the pineal glands convert nervous system signals into endocrine signals. When they reach the pineal glands, colors can have various effects on the body by affecting the way in which the pineal glands determine endocrine function. Thus, the different wavelengths have different effects on physical and psychological functions. On a less scientific note, most people simply feel different when exposed to different colors.
OXYGEN is the natural air we breathe daily contains about 21 percent oxygen and, when combined with the delivered oxygen, dilutes the percentage. The lower the flow rate, the more it’s diluted with room air, and the less you receive. Oxygen is a gas that your body needs to work properly. Your cells need oxygen to make energy. Your lungs absorb oxygen from the air you breathe. The oxygen enters your blood from your lungs and travels to your organs and body tissues. With mask-wearing, we can all use more oxygen. Oxygen can increase energy levels, improve mood, improve concentration, improve sports performance, reduce stress, provide relief for headaches and migraines, and promote better sleep.
Photobiomodulation (PBM)— aka red-light therapy or low-level laser therapy— is a treatment that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to help the body heal. Photobiomodulation (PBM Therapy) previously known as Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is used over injuries or lesions to improve wound and soft tissue healing, reduce inflammation, and give relief for both acute and chronic pain.
REFLEXOLOGY is a treatment based on the principle that there are areas and points on the feet, hands, and ears that are connected through the nervous system to corresponding parts of the body. When pressure is applied to these areas and points it stimulates the movement of energy along the nerve channels and helps to restore homeostasis balance in the body. There are approximately 7,000 nerve endings in the human foot and each of them is a reflex point that corresponds to a body part. Reflexologists use special finger and thumb manipulations to stimulate these reflex points.
REIKI is an energy healing technique that involves a Reiki master using gentle hand movements to guide the flow of healthy energy (what’s known in Reiki as “life force energy”) through the body to reduce stress and promote healing. Reiki is a form of complementary medicine as a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. Reiki is now used by a growing number of Americans to help with relaxation, anxiety, pain management, and depression.
